Dr. Ochalek has 25 years of extensive experience in laparoscopic and robotic surgery including colorectal operations, anti-reflux and hiatal hernia repair, abdominal wall and inguinal hernia repair, as well as gallbladder surgery. In addition, he has extensive experience in the treatment of benign and malignant lesions of the breast, thyroid, and parathyroid glands.
As a burn surgeon for 20 years, he has extensive skills in the management of serious soft tissue wounds including skin grafting. He provides services in anterior spinal exposure for Neurosurgeons and Orthopedic Surgeons to perform anterior spinal fusions.
